Ensuring Supply Chain Security and Transparency with Blockchain and AI

Abstract

In the field of supply chain management, blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) are a curation of two major technologies deployed for effective coordination. This study will look at how blockchain and AI can work together to secure and give transparency in supply chains. The case studies demonstrating effective implementations of these technologies were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The design of the methodology is to offer an extensive evaluation of ways these technologies can be used to solve present heavy challenges facing the supply chain arena. The results show substantial advances in terms of transparency, reduced fraud, and lower costs based on a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis. Empirical results demonstrate that organizations using these technologies achieve an average increase of 68.5% in transparency, a reduction of fraud by 45.3%, and operational costs have been reduced to approximately 24.7%.
