Yet rising cyber threats present serious hurdles for keeping cloud security strong. Chapter 9:
Enhancing Cloud Security with AI and ML in this chapter, we will learn how Artificial
Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are crucial in strengthening the cloud security.
With the help of AI and ML, businesses can effectively identify cyber threats early on so they
are able to immediately address these vulnerabilities before any damage occurs in its cloud
infrastructure. Techniques such as machine learning developed by Artificial intelligence can
provide security systems the power of identifying patterns, abounds and susceptibilities in
massive data set. Historical information is available for ML algorithms to understand past
attack patterns and hence predict future attacks thereby enhancing more robust defense
mechanisms. What is more, AI augmented authentication and access control add an extra
layer helping to manage identities in the organization preventing unauthorized logic accesses
as well.
